Principal's Message

Dear North Families,

We are very excited to start the 2023/24 school year! I hope you had a safe and enjoyable summer break. Our teachers are busy preparing their classrooms and can’t wait to see your students. At North Elementary we are committed to providing students with a safe and caring learning environment where every student receives rigorous instruction aligned with state standards.

Community Back to School Event- August 24th starting at 3:00 pm. Located at Endeavor Middle school. Lots of giveaways, information and fun activities!

Office Hours: Our office will be open from 9:00-3:00 starting August 21st.

Class Lists: Families will be notified on Friday, August 25th by 5:00 PM.

Open House: Monday, August 28th from 4:00-6:00 PM. Please join us to meet your teacher or grade level team!

First Day of Classes: Classes begin on Wednesday, August 30th at 9:00 am for grades 1st-5th. Kindergarten has a slow start with half of the students attending on September 5th and the other half on September 6th. Parents will be notified on which day their student attends. All Kindergarteners attend starting on September 7th (full days).

School Hours: On late-start Mondays, school will run from 10:15-3:30. Tuesday through Friday school hours are from 9:00-3:30.

School Supply List: Supply lists are posted on our school website.

Boys & Girls Club: Parents need to pre-register monthly at bngclub.org or call 509.764.9694 for a spot. It is housed in Portable 20. Monday-Friday 3:30-6:30 PM. It is a great backup in case you are not able to pick up your child at 3:30. They offer homework help, snacks, STEM programs, and a fun, safe place to be after school.
